Sedation Dentistry
We approach each patient from a place of compassion and understanding. We know that the role we play in your healthcare is an important one. We strive to make each patient comfortable through effective communication, kindness, and by gaining your confidence. When that just isn’t enough, we do offer sedation dentistry so that you can avoid anxiety during your treatment. It is always our mission to make sure you are comfortable.
For patients who suffer from dental anxiety or who have a hard time getting numb, oral sedation offers a helpful solution to make your treatment less stressful and more comfortable. Sedation dentistry is also useful for patients who want to complete a lot of treatment in one visit. Since you are completely relaxed, your appointment will seem to go more quickly.
Sedation dentistry relaxes you, making your anesthetic more effective and helping to reduce feelings of fear or anxiousness. That way, your appointment can go smoothly and you can just relax back while we take care of you.
Sometimes, patients are so relaxed, they even doze off during treatment. Oral sedation is safe for most healthy patients. We will ask you for an extensive medical history to make sure sedation is safe for you.
Professional Dental Cleanings
Yes, we offer high quality dentistry for your entire family from toddlers to seniors. Dr. Matt Bradshaw provides high-quality dental care for patients of all ages and looks forward to meeting your family.
Dr. Bradshaw is extremely gentle and will make sure your child is completely comfortable for their treatment. We will explain what to expect in a way that they can understand so they feel involved.
Helping your child get started with an excellent foundation for a lifetime of oral health begins at a very young age. We can help your little one feel completely comfortable in our dental office by familiarizing him or her with the sights and sounds of the dental office. We will do our best to make their visit fun as well as productive.
We also work closely with parents on education so that you know what to expect during your child’s development, how to keep their teeth clean and disease free, and how to talk to your child about dental care in a way that makes sense and puts them at ease.
We value our relationships with families that come to our office. We look forward to watching your children grow and participating in their health with excellent dentistry.
Root Canal Treatment
We understand many patients fear pain when they come to the office. We want you to know that your comfort is always extremely important to us. We believe the best dentistry is beautiful, functional, and pain free! Dr. Matt Bradshaw is extremely gentle and will not proceed with your appointment until you don’t feel a thing.
You are always in control at our office. If you ever feel something, just say, “Ah” and we will take the necessary precautions to make sure you’re completely numb.
We know that you might still feel some anxiety. If that is the case, we do offer oral sedation so that you can relax during your procedure. Not only will it take the edge off of any stress you might feel, but also has an amnesic effect and shortens your perception of time.
In spite of rumors to the contrary, root canals usually relieve your painful symptoms because they eliminate the infection – the source of your pain. While it is completely normal to fee some tenderness for a couple of days, you should feel gradual improvement each day.
We will discuss your follow up care and what to expect during your recovery when we see you for your appointment.
